- Copy ’CorePlugins.DLL’ & ’IDE.DLL’ to "C:/Program Files/GameMaker Studio 2/" (replace existing ones).

- Go to "C:/Windows/assembly/NativeImages_v4.0.30319_64" and remove ’IDE’, ’GameMakerStudio’ [or run ’DelAssem.cmd’ as admin.

- Launch GMS as Admin, click remind me later to update notice, disable updates, do not update it! Login and let it complete installation.

- Copy ’GMAssetCompiler.exe’ & ’igor.exe’ to "C:/ProgramData/GameMakerStudio2/Cache/runtimes/runtime-x/bin/" where x is the installed version.

- You’re done. Make games, don’t publish comercially (you can build to all platforms).
